The Christmas Concert and Carols by Candlelight will be held tonight at the Coleambally Bowling Club starting at 7.30pm.

Many local performers will be singing your Christmas favourites, such as Do You Hear What I Hear, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and Aussie carols sure to get your toes tapping and hands clapping.

All the churches have combined to ensure a fun night will be had by all.

Christmas is a busy time for our Churches, with the Christmas church times as follows:

- Catholic Church – Christmas Eve Mass at Coleambally commencing at 7pm, Christmas Day Mass at Coleambally 10am and Darlington Point at 8am.

- Uniting Church – Christmas Day at Coleambally at 10.30am.

- Anglican Church – December 23: 8.30am Children’s pageant Coleambally, Children’s Christmas Service at Darlington Point 10.30am, Christmas eve service 11pm at Coleambally, Christmas Day 9am service at Darlington Point.

Local retailers have reported trade as being down compared to last year, but it was to be expected, as many retailers have not put the money into stock like previous years.

Celebrations will also run into the new year with a toga party planned at the Town Oval on New Year’s Eve
