01 Sep, 2010 09:59 AM
Coleambally Irrigation Co-operative Limited (CICL) recently hosted a visit by three members of the NSW Joint Parliamentary Standing Committee on Natural Resource Management.

They were briefed on CICL’s operation and modernisation and visited the properties of Barry and Heather Mannes to view both the biodiversity plantation on Farm 170 and the flume gate, recycle system and farm setup on Farm 90.

They also met with CICL’s board with discussion focusing on the impacts of the National Water Initiative program and on the potential impact of the Basin plan.
