Envisaged to be a major attraction for all car and motorbike enthusiasts throughout the Riverina, the two-day Rev n’ Rumble Fest will hold excitement for all interested in anything to do with wheels, including cars, utes, vans and motorbikes.
Planned for March 8 and 9, the Coleambally Rev n’ Rumble Fest will combine the popular Poker Run on Saturday, March 8 and is not just for motorbikes. Any roadworthy vehicle is invited to attend the 260 km Poker Run collecting cards from participating hotels.
The Poker Run will leave the Brolga Hotel, Coleambally at 10am, with registrations being taken on-site from 8.30am. Pre-registrations may be done by seeing Jane at Miss Jane’s Wardrobe, or phoning 0427 544 200.
For those without a vehicle, a supporter’s bus has been organised but seats must be booked one week prior to the event.
Registration for the Poker Run will cost $30 per person, which includes a spit roast tea on return, prize raffles, Poker Run prize presentations and fantastic live entertainment from Crackerjack at the Brolga Hotel in the evening. Lunches will be available en-route from a participating hotel.
All proceeds from the Poker Run will be donated to local charities.
Day two sees much more excitement, with the Rev n’ Rumble Fest taking place at the Coleambally Lions Park.
The gates will open at 8am for a breakfast and registrations into the show n’ shine. Vehicles and motorbikes of all descriptions may enter the show n’ shine and kids may enter their dirt motorbikes in a static show display.
A bike gymkhana will take place at 10am with registrations taking place from 9am on site.
The Coly Rumblers have organised for a spectacular Dyno machine to be present in which anyone may check out the performance of their vehicle, as well as Summernats Top 60 Elite and trophy-winning vehicle “Killer Tamata” on display.
Other activities on the day include a Mrs Rumble Quest (women may enter or be entered and do not have to be of ‘show quality’, but rather have a keen interest in wheels or their partner’s love of wheels).
There will be food and refreshments available on the day, as well as merchandise stalls. Anyone wanting to set up fee-free market/merchandise or craft stalls should contact Jane on 0427 544 200 to register their interest.
For costs and further information into the Show ‘n’ Shine and / or Dyno machine, call Dudley on 0427 54 4418.
