Help is needed on demo farm

09 Dec, 2009 09:51 AM
THE Murrumbidgee Demo farm has again finished

off a successful year by announcing a round of donations for local community groups, but it has put out a call for more participation from locals.

At the annual general meeting held recently,

where all the incumbent executive positions were returned, it was announced that the farm made a

profit of over $170,000 for

the last financial year as

a result of water sales,

excellent grain prices,

donations of services from business houses such as Walsh’s and Akazien Hof and the continued support from the local community.
