 Ideas get go-ahead

Ideas get go-ahead

10 Feb, 2010 10:25 AM
THE Coleambally Townlife committee met last week with two ventures brought to the group for consideration.

Bob Fraser approached the committee in the hopes they would support him to set up a Men’s Shed in Coleambally.

Men’s Sheds have been popping up across Australia as a means for men to get away from life’s troubles and relax with mates while working on projects.

The other exciting idea was the creation of a community library/drop-in centre.

This centre, the brain child of Fran Dunbar, would give people somewhere to meet and it would also operate as a book exchange for all those excess books that people are storing away.

The Townlife Committee has thrown it’s full support behind both ideas.
