School fete has something to excite everyone

03 Mar, 2010 10:59 AM
ST PETER’S Primary school will this weekend host its annual fete in the school grounds on Sunday.

Plenty of activities are planned for the day which will get underway after the 10.30 am church service which this week is being organised by the children of the school.

There will be lots of food on offer from the cake stall as well as devonshire teas and the barbecue which will be running all day.

The kids will be entertained by the dunking machine, the pet competition, the makeover stand and cricket activities.

The chocolate wheel will run throughout the day with lots of great prizes on offer as well as the major raffle prize of a television. Tickets for the major raffle will also be on sale throughout the day.

There are also lots of produce on sale, from fruit and veges to plants.

The school is hoping for fine weather and that the whole community will get behind this major fundraiser for the school and come along for a fun day out.
