Ski club seeks help in building new facilities

03 Feb, 2010 10:04 AM
THE Coleambally Ski Club is looking to improve the facilities at the ski beach and is hoping the community will support it.

With over 30 families as members of the club, the ski beach provides a great getaway for local families over the summer period.

At present, there is a ladies’ and gents’ toilet at the beach, but there is only a unisex shower, which is shared by everyone.

Plans are under way to build a new amenities block which will have a male and female shower as well as a disabled toilet.

The club hopes to lay the slab in the next month and have the facility ready to be used next season.

For the month of February the ski club will host the comm-unity club raffles on Wednesday nights and hopes local support is forthcoming.
