THE Brolga Hotel Coleambally Cricket Club annual Australia Day Six-a-Side tournament is on again.

This year the competition will be played on Sunday, January 31 on number two and three ovals.

The day will start at 9am, culminating in the grand final, which will be played at 5.30pm on number three oval.

The Coro Club from Griffith is the holder of the trophy after winning for the last two years, so the call is out for locals to get the trophy back home where it belongs.

Teams have registered from as far afield as Lake Cargelligo, Albury and Temora, so it is hoped there will be a lot of strong local teams enter.

First prize on the day will be $180.

There will also be raffles throughout the day and a memorabilia auction after the awards presentation at the Brolga Hotel.

Team entry for the day is $90 and must be paid when registering.

Registration s are being taken by ringing Michael Hodgson on 0427 544 520 or 6954 4521.

There is a maximum of 16 teams, so get in early with your teams.

Registrations will close on Sunday, January 24.
