School’s win streak ends at Coolamon

26 Mar, 2008 10:11 AM
But its winning streak ended in the third round.

Coolamon won the toss in the third round and elected to bowl. Coly lost early wickets and this made the going tough. Top scorers with the bat were Tom Fuller (28) and Mitchell Wiseman (21). The side scored 91.

Coleambally bowled and fielded well but could not take early wickets.

Only two wickets fell in the Coolamon innings, both taken by Josh Shaw. Coolamon passed Coly’s score with eight overs to go. Unfortunately this loss knocks Coly out of this competition, but the under 16 school team will be playing next term.
