PROVING the strength of Coleambally cricket, two local players took part in the A grade grand final of the Griffith and District Cricket two-day competition on the weekend as part of the victorious Exies team.
Tom Burge complied a well-earned 22 runs for the team after being the topscorer in last weekend’s preliminary final.
Nathan Jones once again proved his worth as a bowler, finishing with the figures of 1-32 off 14 overs, racking
up three maidenrs in his spell.
The two-day game was played down to the wire with the Exies team snatching the win by just six runs.
