Blues U17s go down fighting

04 May, 2011 01:46 PM
Although well beaten, the Coly Blues under 17s never stopped trying and with a few more games under their belts I’m sure we will see a few wins.

Best player were Corbin O’Malley, Cameron McFadyen, Andrew Noack and Jake Breed.

Jack Weymouth-Smith and Justin Lashbrook each bagged two goals.

In the under 13s Coly played the Griffith Swans, and even though well beaten on the scoreboard, the team is starting to benefit from some real improvment from a lot of its players.

Best players were Tim Hayes, James Lyell, Tom Mannes.

Ryan Mannes was the loan goal scorer.

The under 11s were also beaten but never gave up and played the game right to the end.

Best players were Bryce Rodgers, Sam Breed, Christopher Hayes and Liam Paton.

Bryce Rodgers kicked two goals and Tom Breed one goal.

GREAT GAME: Jack Robb played a great game in the under 17s against Temora on the weekend, the boys were eventually defeated even though they never stopped trying.
