AS the year finally kicks back into gear, the ladies and men’s golf competitions are ready to start again at the Coleambally golf course.
The ladies will begin competition on Tuesday, February 23. Names are to be in each Tuesday by 9am for a 9.30am start.
The men will kick off their competition on Sunday, March 14.
The club would love to welcome any new players to come along and give the game a try. There are also some exciting tournaments coming up for local golfers to attend.
The first of these will be the Yowani Open Amateur Women’s Golf 36-Hole Championships on March 8 and 9.
There is an entry fee of $40 for this tournament and a handicap of 36. Names need to be in by February 23. Also in March is the RLGA opening day at Howlong and the Deniliquin open on March 21 and 22.
Locally the club will be hosting the Keno Mixed 4BBB Club qualifying event on March 21.
The golf club would also like to congratulate its longtime and loyal supporter, Dorothy Meyer, on her 80th birthday and thank her for her continued work with the club.
