THE lady golfers played a stableford game last week with Heather Hogan winning the event on 39 points.

The runner-up was Marg King on 38 points and the ball competition was won by June Shields on a countback from Eve Kerr and Trish Clark.

The nine-hole winner was Rosemary Hutchins, with Edna Gready in runner-up, while Marg Naseby won the raffle of the day.

Coming up for local golfers is the monthly medal stroke and putting round for the men this Sunday while the ladies will be travelling to Thurgoona next week for the RLGA Open/Bronze to be played from Monday August 16 to Thursday, August 19.
