Three local juniors participated in the event with some outstanding results. Coming in third on a count back from the Corowa team was Alex Lawrence and Tim Foley (Narrandera Golfer) with an impressive 39 Stableford points.

A nine hole Junior Golf Competition held last Sunday was won by Andrew Noack with a nett 42, closely followed by Jacob Breed with a nett 44. The chip and putt was won by Andrew Noack.

Thanks to the Junior Golfers that attended and it is hoped that more Junior Golfers will attend the next round which will be held at Deniliquin Golf Club on Monday July 7th.

There will be no Junior Golf on Sunday 27th April due to Keno 4BBB which will commence at 12pm.

The Golfing Ladies played a stroke round in the monthly medal and putting competition. The winner with 70 points was Fay Schliebs and runner up was Edna Gready with 71 points. The ball competition winners were Marg Naseby, Anne Leonard, June Shields on a count back. Marg Naseby was also the winner of the putting on 24 points. Winner over nine holes went to Rosemary Hutchins and runner up was Elaine Gorey. The lucky winner of the raffle went to June Shields.

Three ladies travelled to the Finley Open with Anne Leonard winning the B Grade Veterans event.

Coming events will be the Irish Medal on Tuesday April 29 and Jerilderie Tournament on May 2nd, 2008.
