LAST month four lady golfers from Coleambally travelled to Jerilderie to play in the town’s annual tournament.

Fay Schliebs won the A grade scratch at the tournament and Janine Evans won the B grade scratch. The four ladies also took out the team event.

Locally, two weeks ago the ladies played an 18-hole stableford event with Heather Hogan winning and Marg Naseby coming in runner-up.

The ball competition on the day was won by Carolyn Martin, June Shields and Debbie Heath on a countback.

Carolyn Martin also won the drive and chip and the nine-hole event was won by Grace McCalman and Trish Clark as runner-up.

The Wagga Country Cup will be played tomorrow and on Sunday, May 23 the CAPS day two-person ambrose to be held at Coleambally.
