FIVE local ladies travelled to Narrandera on May 13 for the RLGA Riverina Foursomes.
Margaret Naseby teamed up with Rosemary Orr from Narrandera and the pair were scratch runners-up by just three strokes.
June Shields and Faye Schliebs played well, coming home with a ball each.
Two locals also travelled to the Griffith tournament.
The pennant season has now wrapped up for 2010 for the Coleambally players with Narrandera taking out the zone title.
The club would like to thank Margaret Naseby, Fay Schliebs, Carolyne Rutledge, Janine Evans, Heather Hogan and Carolyn Martin for playing this year.
Special thanks goes to Ken and Carolyn Martin for the use of their trailer each week and to Janine Evans for driving the girls to the rounds safely each week.
Next Tuesday, the ladies will play in the Mabel McKenzie Stroke and Monie Burke Memorial Day Picnic with a meeting to be held afterwards.
