New committee elected for 2010

08 Dec, 2009 12:39 PM
THE Coleambally Golf Club held its annual general meeting last week, with a good roll-up of members.

The 2009 president and captain gave good reports on the progress of the club and how well it is going, due mainly to the good up-keep of the course, which has kept it looking good all year.

The officebearers for the coming season 2010 are; Pat Brown (president), Fay Schliebs (senior vice-president), Brian Mannes (vice-president), Marg King (secretary), June Shields (treasurer), Alistair Evans (captain), Zavier Maher (vice-captain), and Carolyne Rutledge (junior promotions officer).

There is a committee of four members – Janine Evans, Daniel Whittred, Russell Rutledge and Rudy Meyer – and the publicity officer is Dorothy Meyer.

The officebearers and committee are hoping that next season will continue the success of the club, both on and off the course.

The Chook Run is still on Thursdays from 4.30pm and anyone who wishes to play on other days are asked to have their cards in by Thursday.
