THE Coleambally bowlers held their Christmas party and presentation night last week with presentation of the most improved player award to Marilyn Carter the highlight.
During 2009 Marilyn has achieved a lot in bowls, including being part of the winning
2009 ladies fours team, mixed
pairs and ladies singles, finalist
in the ladies triples and runner-up in the ladies pairs.
Other award winners on the night were: Marilyn Carter (ladies singles); Eve Kerr, Alice O’Connell (ladies pairs); Barry Payten, Colin Carter (men’s pairs); Peter Dunbar, Chris Mannes, Steve Lyell (men’s triples); Ann Robinson, Liz Schliebs, Marilyn Carter, Lyn Hardy. (ladies fours); Alan McFarlane, Ian Wood, Barry Payten, Mitch Dunbar (men’s fours); Colin and Marilyn Carter (mixed pairs).
