THE Coleambally Netball Club traveled to Osborne last weekend.
The Nettas started out the day with a great game and although the scores were not recorded, it is understood the girls had a successful outing.
Considering they were without two of their more experienced girls they all did a great job. Thank you to Jessica Noack for umpiring.
The Mods were up against a taller opposition and although assistant coach Jessica Noack made a number of positional changes, they were not able to contain the Osborne girls.
Standout players were Molly Young and Emma Dunbar. Thank you to Kate McFadyen for umpiring.
Thanks also goes to Jess Noack, who did a great job standing in as coach for both of the younger teams.
The juniors had an exciting game, winning by just one goal.
The game was close right through and the girls kept their composure in the dying minutes of what had been an entertaining game.
The standout players were Hannah Buchanan and Megan Hayes.
Thank you to Molly McFadyen and trainee Olivia Lawrence for umpiring.
C grade put in another big effort but was not able to contain the opposition.
The young side continues to show signs of improvement.
Standout players were Olivia Lawrence and Kate McFadyen.
Thank you to Shelayah McMillan for umpiring.
B grade had a great game going down by just three goals.
There were a number of combinations tried throughout the game, but the girls were just not able to get the result they desperately wanted.
Standout players were Paige Evans and Acacia Mannes.
Thank you to Kate Jones for umpiring.
A grade came very close to its first win for the season but fell away in the last quarter.
The Coly team led all game, but was unable to complete the four quarters, with the opposition outscoring it in the final stanza.
The team displayed some great passages of play and showed determination but unfortunately was unable to keep it up for the length of the game.
Standout players were Jess Noack and Charmaine Buchanan.
Thank you to Tara Pound for umpiring.
Next week the club will travel to Coreen.
