THE Coleambally Netball Club travelled to Lockhart last Saturday and came away with a mixed bag of results.
The Nettas had a great win, with their season’s highest score of 25 goals.
Although they have only played six games, their confidence and skills are impressive. The award this week went to Danielle Mannes. Thank you to Chloe Buchanan for umpiring.
The Mods also had an impressive confidence-boosting win, with their highest score of 26 goals.
The girls showed their versatility on the court with their ability to play in various positions when required. The award this week went to Allana Robb. Thank you to Kate McFadyen for umpiring.
The juniors also joined the winner’s list, with another season high score of 29 goals.
The girls realised they had to keep their cool and stay focused to win the game. The standout players were Annie Mader and Megan Hayes. Thank you to Courtney White for umpiring.
C grade was beaten by a better side, although it did what it could by moving players to various positions.
The team continues to show improvement in its skill level and players continue to try their hearts out each week.

B grade tried hard all game but was outclassed by the opposition. There was little it could do to stop the opposition from scoring.

A grade had a disappointing loss, with the girls trying everything to get a win on the board. The team is playing good netball, but just needs to persevere.
