The club held its annual general meeting last week and the new committee is excited about the coming season and hopes it will be a successful one.

Seniors will begin training this Thursday, February 25 at 5.30pm with juniors and netta/mods training commencement date to be set.

Past and new players are most welcome to attend. Please note the advertisement in this Observer edition for details of registration night and fees.

The first game of the season is set for April 10 and the club is encouraging all players to get out their old uniform or get in with orders for new ones.

All uniforms can be bought directly from the club and players should contact Charmaine Buchanan on 6954 4022 as soon as possible if they require any items.

The club also has jackets on sale and these can be orded through Kim Mannes on 6954 1513.

So far the coaches for this year will be Kylie Mannes for A grade and Kim Mannes once again taking on the coaching role for the netta/mods.

The club still needs coaches for all other grades and urges anyone interested to get in touch with the president Lauren Pound or secretary Kylie Mannes or come along to training.

Coaches are required for B, C, C reserves grades as well as juniors.

Team managers are also required for each team to assist the coaching job and anyone interested in these roles should also come along to training.

Sponsors also play a vital role in making the netball club a success and any local business who would like to get involved in the club would be welcome and can contact Lauren or Kylie.
