Nettas and Mods triumph

COLEAMBALLY Netball Club travelled to Walla Walla on the weekend and once again came away with a mixed bag of results with two wins from six games.

The little Netta team marked up another victory for the season, winning 10 -6.

A great team effort helped set up the win with all girls displaying improvement in their positioning and passing.

Olivia Rawson won the weekly award for excellent shooting and positioning in the circle.

The Mods put in a fantastic team effort, winning their first game of the season.

The girls picked up their game in the third quarter which set up their win.

The weekly award went to Georgia Black for her improved movement around the circle.

Both the Mods and Netta teams are making their coachs very proud, displaying a positive approach to their netball.

The juniors had a tough game and despite the scoreboard, they kept trying all game.

The standout players for Coly were Lana Evans and Emma Mannes. Thanks to Molly McFadyen for umpiring.

C grade found it really difficult to get a sufficient score to be competitive throughout the game.

Standout players were Courtney White and Ali Painting. Thanks to Tamika Shaxson for umpiring.

B grade again played a tight game, with an opposition spectator stating that the final score did not reflect the game.

The standout players were Maddie Mannes and Kim Clark. Thanks to Kate Jones for umpiring.

A grade battled all game but was beaten by a taller and faster team. Standout players were Caryn Deaton and Lauren Pound.

The club would like to remind everyone of the casserole night to be held this Saturday after the home game against Holbrook.
