This was the club’s first game in the Hume League.
All teams started off really well but the heat combined with low fitness levels and the opposition already having one game up their sleeve, our A grade went down 36-57.
Gemma Barry was named best on court.
B grade tried hard going down 41-55, Jemma Clark and Hannah Carroll were named best on court.
C grade was the only team to win on the day, beating Rand Walbundrie 39-31, Sally McFadyen was named best on court.
C reserve went down 49-20; Gill Morton was named best on court, with Donna Wiseman and Haley O’Connell backing up well.
The under 16s went down 38-24 with Shelayah McMillan named best on court.
Being the first game the under 14s played well, going down 4-31.
Claire Mannes was named best on court for her performance in GA.
Our mods also scored the same as the under 14s going down 4-31, the girls all played well and listened to the instructions that they were given.
Ella Painting was named best on court.
Next week is our first home game of the season, we are playing against Rennie and encourage everybody to come down and watch our girls.
