Junior touch set to kick off again

18 Aug, 2010 06:42 PM
THE Coleambally Junior Touch competition is set to start again in the near future.

Registration forms are now available from the Coleambally Central School canteen, St Peter’s office and the Coleambally Community Bank.

Fees for this year will remain at $30 per person and players must turn 10 in 2010 and be no older than 17 in 2010.

Completed registration forms and fees are to be returned in a sealed envelope to the above places by no later than Wednesday, September 1.

No late registrations will be accepted.

The competition will start on Thursday, September 16 and will continue (excluding school holidays) until Thursday, December 2 when the finals will be held.

As well as the usual two parent helpers assigned to each game an additional two helpers will be required each week to help organise the day by keeping time, handing out and collecting players bibs and game balls, as well as generally managing the games.

It is essential to have the extra helpers to allow the competition to run due to the small number of members on the committee this year.

Referees are also needed for the competition and anyone interested in obtaining their badge, please contact Chris Robb as soon as possible.

Anyone with general enquiries about the competition, please contact Denise Kelly on 69546731.
