Club set for Cup

DARLINGTON Point/Coleambally Rugby League Club (DPCRLFC) is already in preparation for the 2010 group 20 season and is currently in training for the Paul Kelly Cup.

Training has been under way for five weeks in preparation for the cup which will be played at Yenda on Sunday, March 21.

The under 16s and 18s will also be in action that day, and the club is encouraging any young lads who would like a game to contact one of the coaches or attend training at 6.30pm on Tuesdays and Fridays at Darlington Point.

The club’s coaches for this season are –first grade, Thomas Doubleday and Josh Curphey, Greg Borger will have reserve grade under his care, Jack Mitchell will coach the under 18s and Simon Fuller will be in charge of the under 16s.

The DPCRLFC Executive for 2010 are Terry Brady (President), Pat Mitchell (Secretary), Greg Briggs (Treasurer), Greg Borger (Vice President) and Graham Carroll Junior (Vice President).

A reminder that Darlington Point Coleambally will have the catering rights for the “Paul Kelly Cup” and the club is asking supporters to volunteer their services on the the day to help cater; please contact someone from the committee to register your support.
