Girls do well in fast game

THE DPC Roosters league tag girls played a fast and exciting game against a much-improved Hay team.

The first half of the match was an even affair, with the score in the balance.

The girls went into the break with only one try the difference, with Hay leading 4-3.

Laura Demamiel played a great game in dummy half displaying safe hands.

The game continued to seesaw during the second half and it was only in the last five minutes that Hay ran away with an 8-4 win.

Best players on the day were Cindy Boots, Jesse Burns and Laura Demamiel.

The local girls tagged well all day, with Ellie Brain, Alisa Hopwood and Hannah Kelly leading the way.

Melissa Brady played extremely well all game.
