Drew Hopwood has improved immensely this year and showed plenty of class at times during the match.
Ben Grace has also finished the season on a high after an injury early in the year.
Blade Grace, who plays above his weight every week and never takes a backward step, also had a good game.
The last game of league tag for the year was a write-off with the game shortened to 15 minutes after Jessie Burns injured her leg.
The team missed out on a finals spot this year, but with a lot of new players coming through and plenty of numbers it is already looking forward to next season.
The league tag team sincerely thanks Steve Knight for all his coaching skills, time and patience over the past few years.
It would also like to thank Ken Brain for running the sideline every league tag game, rain, hail or shine and this year’s sponsors, Exquisite Hair Salon, G and R Fuller, Coly Roadhouse and The Clock restaurant.
The DPC reserve grade forwards overpowered the Hawks in slippery conditions with handling from both teams suffering in the misty rain.
Tom Coe and Alex Brown were again strong for DPC and both grabbed tries.
The Roosters started the end of the year celebrations early when Archie Bamblett scored his first try for the season.

Yanco’s speed men did the damage to the Roosters with eight tries scored by the team’s backs.
John Cahill and Ben Mahon were the best for DPC.
