All ages unite for central school carnival

24 Feb, 2010 01:06 PM
The Coleambally Central School this year had a whole school carnival rather than a separate primary and secondary event, which has not been done for many years.

The day started off as a success with a large proportion of the school turning out as well as many parents and community members who came to show their support for the students and the school.

Students were keen to participate throughout all age groups and the annual year 12 novelty race showed that even in your most serious year of school you can still have fun.

The CCS P&C provided an excellent sausage sizzle which kept the students, staff, parents and community members energised for the day.

From the day’s events, 22 primary students and 18 secondary students were selected to represent the school at the zone swimming carnivals held in Griffith and Narrandera respectively.
