The final one for the year is Rachel Guest, who is studying a Bachelor of Arts (Theatre and Performance Major) at University of NSW.
The second-year student has so far found her course work to be fascinating but also quite demanding.
Rachel is also getting involved with activities outside of her busy workload. She is working part-time as a travel ambassador, has joined the university theatrical society, Dr Who Society and Sci-Fi Society.
A highlight for Rachel has been having the opportunity to take an entire subject about William Shakespeare. At times she has found it difficult to find time to complete her extensive workload.
Rachel will be using the grant to help pay for college fees.
Applications for the 2017 Country Education Fund are now open. For those looking to apply, you have until Friday, November 18 and information about eligibility requirements for the grant can be found at cef.org.au.
