Coly won the toss and elected to bat, and got off on the wrong foot straight away, finding themselves at 2/0 with Ryan Mannes and James Lyell falling for ducks to the bowling of John Witherspoon.
Cooper Smith (15) and Zac Leach-Deahm (3) went about trying to restore some stability to the innings, getting the side to 2/24.
It was short-lived however as Smith became the first victim of Nicholas Witherspoon (4/22) and Leach-Deahm was run out looking for quick runs.
This was the last meaningful partnership for Coly as they lost their last six wickets for 21 runs.
Brett Burton (10) posted double figures as the Nomads were bowled out for 52 in 25 overs.
Witherspoon was the chief destroyer with assistance from Dion Pascoe (2/7) and Teei Piawi (1/6) helping the cause.
Coly would have been hopeful of restricting Coro to below the total after two quick wickets.
Luke Roberts (2/20) found himself on a hat-trick after bowling Andrew McIntyre (0) and Damien Maruskanic (0) in successive deliveries to have Coro at 2/4.
Brett Crooks (32*) and Nicholas Witherspoon (15) put their head down to push their side towards the total.
This was the last ray of sunshine for Coly came when Witherspoon was dismissed after being caught off the bowling of Simon Mackie (1/5).
Pascoe (2*) and Crooks guided the side home with almost 25 overs remaining to show why they occupy to spot in second grade.
Coly has the bye next week before two home games against Diggers and Leagues to finish the regular season before heading into finals.
Currently on 63 points, the Nomads find themselves 18 points in front of Hanwood in fifth position.
Hanwood plays the final three rounds and have the potential to pick up 24 points while Coly only has 18 points available.
Coro has been dominant all season and sits in first with 103 points, 35 points in front of second-placed Diggers.
