“Wilga” comprises about 6576 hectares or 16,249 acres and will be offered in two lots.
The lots are designated as Wilga grazing, comprising 4894 hectares and Wilga farming, comprising 1682 hectares.
The property is ideally located 15km south west of the Hillston township, via the Hillston-Booligal Road and frontage to McKinley Road.
Improvements on the property include a four-bedroom weatherboard residence and a separate men’s hut, plus a five-stand woolshed and sheep yards, as well as a hay shed and cattle yards.
Stock and domestic water is available via two mains-powered submersible bore pumps, which is then reticulated to tanks and troughs.
There is also a solar powered submersible bore pump and windmills to tanks and troughs.
The current cropping program includes about 965 acres of last year’s cereal stubble.
Further areas of cultivated land is available as required.
The grazing lands comprise open plains and scattered timber plains, providing grazing with natural medics, grasses and herbage.
The Cabbage Garden Creek water course traverses the property.
“Wilga” carries a good body of dry feed and to enable a supplementary livestock feeding program the property includes a number of small paddocks and feedlot facilities with water troughs and HE silo feeders.
Grain and hay storage is available through seven elevated grain silos and the 25x15-metre hayshed.
The auction is to be held at the Hillston Ex-Services Club on Thursday, April 27 at 11am.
