With around 40 juniors and 25 seniors in attendance, the 400 gamer parted off his wisdom in a two-hour session.
Players involved suggested participants were very appreciative of the time Fletcher spent giving pointers on how the players could improve their game.
They thanked Fletcher for the time and effort he put into the session as well as the knowledge he was able to pass on.
The Essendon legend remained in town throughout the evening, entertaining a wide array of listeners from football enthusiasts to Bombers faithful during the Coleambally Sportsman’s Night held at the Coleambally Community Club.
He kept the crowd of around 75 entertained for over two hours covering a number of topics and telling his experiences from this career of 25 years in both the semi professional and professional era’s of the sport.
During the two hours he covered many of the highlights and the low-lights of his career and the interesting and successful people he encountered over his extensive 400-game career for the Bombers.
