Fletcher was special guest at the Blues training as both junior and senior footballers got the opportunity to rub shoulders with the 400-game AFL legend.
About 40 juniors and 25 seniors trained with Fletcher for two hours before he entertained a crowd of about 73 at a sportsman’s night at Coleambally Community Club.
Coleambally junior president Danny Graham said Fletcher was fantastic with his time.
“He was very giving of his time and knowledge of the game and is fantastic ambassador for the sport,” Graham said.
“He covered a number of topics and was great to hear from a player whose career spanned 23 years and both the professional and semi professional eras.”
