The Darlington Point Respite Group Biggest Morning Tea will be held at the Darlington Point Club on Wednesday, May 24 from 10am followed by bingo.
Entry is by gold coin donation and those attending are asked to bring a small plate of finger food to share with friends. All welcome. Call Cindy 6960 5500.
Meanwhile Jerilderie residents can enjoy a cup of their favourite brew at the library on Thursday, May 25 from 1pm to 3pm in the Monash Room via the library. There will be a lucky door prize and raffles on offer.
Donated food or goods can be left at the library prior to the day.
Biggest Morning Tea gatherings held throughout May and June such as these help fund vital research, prevention and support service programs.
General Manager Craig Moffitt said he hoped locals would take the opportunity to support both events.
“Unfortunately we all know someone who has been touched by cancer,” he said.
“This is a simple way we can get behind this good cause.”
