Awards were given to Charlotte Young for the first game and Millie Rossato for the second game while Eloise Jay was noticed in both games to take home two awards for the day.
The under 11s tried their hardest but were outplayed by the Leeton side. Linda Clarke and Eleanor Pretty were awarded for their efforts.
FOOTBALL
The under 11s continued to show improvement in their game with all putting in a great deal of effort against a very strong Leeton side. Award winners for the week went to Marley Simoes, Chaise Nuetze and Cooper Payne. Best players for Coly included Miley Simoes, Cooper Payne, Chaise Neutze, Joe Rossato, Sam Strachan and Lachlan Vearing.
The under 13s fielded a full side against one of the stronger sides of the SWJ competition.
They finished the game on the wrong side of the scoreline but a number of the boys are beginning to play consistent football.
Tom Munn was solid in defence along with Xavier Chirgwin. James Clarke put in a big effort rucking for the four quarters and kicking Coly’s only goal while Nick Graham ran all day. The boys were able to learn a lot about positioning and contesting from a well-drilled side.
