The pair has been the benchmark for the competition for most of the season and a win to either side could see them rise to the top of the pack.
Black and Whites coach Craig Morriss is expecting it to be a tough hit out.
“Point has been the benchmark for the competition,” he said.
“They have a few guys there with heaps of English Super League experience.
“It’s something that not a lot of clubs have at least not to the same extent.”
The first game between the two sides doubled as the season opener and the Roosters were able to come away with a 20-16 win at Darlington Point Sportsground.
Morriss is hoping for a similar style of game to the round one encounter and knows what his side will have to be wary of.
“They play really well going to the line,” he said.
“With Ryan McGoldrick and Jordan Tansey, they have some really good passers of the ball.

“They really have a good all round package.”
It has been a consistent side which has helped to keep the Panthers success moving along and that isn’t going to change.
“We have just been sticking to what has been working for us,” he said.
“We have been lead pretty well by Andrew Lavaka. The stuff he does in the tough times really helps us get through it.
“The side itself has also been pretty consistent.
“We haven’t picked up many injuries this season and touch wood that isn’t about to change.”
The Black and Whites have been undefeated since round two when they lost to Leeton and in recent weeks have seen off the challenge from Hay and Yanco-Wamoon either side of a bye.
On the other side of the field, Darlington Point Coleambally are enjoying a two-game winning streak after seeing off Yenda 28-10 before they defeated the Hawks 42-18 last weekend.
This weekend is also a fundraising game for the Black and Whites as a club with the raising funds for CanAssist throughout the day.
The action on the day will get underway when the top of the Panthers take to the field in the under 18s at 2.15pm.
The League Tag game will act as the curtain-raiser at 4.45pm before firsts take the field at 6.15pm.
