Take a look at the Community Services Expo held Thursday at Griffith Central.
The Expo was highly regarded by participating groups, and even garnered interest from those withing to be involved next time.
The expo was not all about Griffith service either, with organisations from Murrumbidgee present as well, with Cindy Eldridge from the Murrumbidgee council hoping for more frequent events.
“The community services expo is a great idea, it gets people thinking about the services and is also an opportunity for people who don’t realise that there are services out there for them” she said.
“Its a fantastic idea, and I think it should be run every six months”.
This sentiment was also mirrored by Melina Tropea from the Community health centre.
”I am actually here gathering information to take back to the center” she said.
“I think this is amazing because I have never seen anything like this before, and I think we would benefit from doing it more often, because i didn’t realise that there were so many services out there.”
