The game was evenly contested right up to the final bell with both teams putting up a great fight.
Jemma Pound was chosen as the umpire’s best for her effective defensive work giving the Barellan shooters not room to more.
Brianna Clark played with great strength throughout the centre court and was voted players’ player.
The A Reserve game was closely contested for three quarters until the Barellan side slipped away in the final quarter.
Kate Millson and Kate Jones combined well in defence, making it hard work for the opposition shooters, and were rewarded with the weekly awards.
Another disappointing loss for the B Grade side despite putting in their best effort they couldn’t match it with the strength of the two blues side.
Molly Harper played a strong game and took home the umpire’s choice award.
Eleanor Clary also had a good game playing with determination for the whole game and was voted player’s player by her peers.
Hannah Clark took the court in the B grade for her first senior game, displaying great positioning and shooting.
The C grade side came up against a very strong defensive side making it difficult for the local girls.
Kaylee Ingram continues to show improvement and determination in her game and was awarded the umpire’s choice award while Georgia Black played one of her best games to be named Players’ player.
The under 11s played with their usual enthusiasm all putting in a great effort.
Linda Clark shot very well throughout the game and was given the weekly award.
The under 13s had a tough game as they were undermanned due to a few members still being on holidays, thanks goes to the under 11s girls who helped fill the gaps.
Giaan Cullen received the weekly award for her great work throughout the mid court and defensive positions.
A pleasing win was achieved by the Under 15s girls who all combined well for the entire game.
Sarah Graham was awarded for her effort taking home the weekly award.
