Police in Griffith arrested and charged a man on Thursday following investigations into mid-level drug supply.

Just after 2pm on Thursday, August 3 a 37-year-old man was arrested in Coolah Street, Griffith.
Police will allege the man was in possession of about 7g of methylamphetamine and 85.5g of cannabis.
A search warrant was also conducted on the man’s home where police seized a further 3.5g of methylamphetamine.
The man was taken to Griffith Police Station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug (indictable quantity), three counts of supply prohibited drug, and two counts of possess prohibited drug.
He was refused bail to appear at Griffith Local Court on Friday 4, August.

The arrest come as part of Strike Force Sedgewick, which was established by the Griffith Proactive Investigations Unit last month to investigate the mid-level supply of methylamphetamine (’ice’) in the local area.
