Brianna Clark once again put in a strong game through the centre court to be awarded with best on court by the umpires.
Laura Pound worked hard in the shooting circle to assist with the pleasing win, this win should cement the Coly girls a finals opportunity.
The A Reserve side continued with their usual game plan when they were in front until half time, when once again, the third quarter yips took over causing the Blues to lose the game.
Eleanor Clearly made her debut in A Reserve on the wing and was named as best on for Coly.
While Jasmin Heath played the centre court with skill and purpose to share the player’s player award with Eleanor.
The B grade side were very pleased with their efforts, even though they didn’t take the win they played one of their best games to date.
Alicia Perkins played her first game with the B grade girls and made an impact in defence and was given the award for best on for Coly.
Danielle Mannes played with determination this week, playing one of her best game for the season as shooter.
The best on court award once again went to Tess Mader for the C grade game, while Kendra Wilson was voted as player’s player by her team, Kendra continues to show improvement on a weekly basis.
Junior netball
The Junior teams travelled to Ganmain on Sunday bringing home two wins and two losses.
The under 11s played two games this week, while their first game was against a much stronger Ganmain side, they returned to the court to take the win in the second game.
Elise Munro and Hannah Pound were both rewarded for their great participation taking home the weekly awards.
The local girls were too strong for the Ganmain side in the under 13s game taking the win 31-16.
All members combined well all over the court but Charlotte Young lead the way and was rewarded with the weekly award.
A disappointing loss by the under 15s girls 29-23 meant they now miss out on a finals birth.
The girls kept with the GGGM side in the first quarter with the score being even, but after the first break the young Lions were too quick on their feet making it hard for our girls to keep with them.
The Coly girls fought hard throughout the game but couldn’t take the win.
