MEMBERS and guests were treated to a flavoursome luncheon featuring Nepalese cuisine at our International Day on August 4. Wonderful aromas of lentil soup and vegetable curry wafted around the hall while we held our Sturt Group Council Meeting.

Dates to remember: Sturt Group AGM at the Coleambally Community Hall on Tuesday, October 10.
We are honoured to have State President, Annette Turner, to open the meeting and be our guest speaker.
Sturt Group Christmas Council meeting to be held at Jerilderie on November 30.
Our Group International officer Rev Sue-Ellen Chilvers had decorated the hall with colourful posters and gave us a most informative talk. Other displays were the requirements for school and mother-baby packs to go to PNG.
We welcomed two guests at our branch meeting on Friday, August 11.
The two main items to be decided were Disbursement of Funds and the last minute arrangements for the catering at the Vintage Machinery Rally.
Agricultural and Environment officer, Cate Hardy had a handout; “Local Growers Best In Cotton; Vegemite is Back; What plant to grow.
In our cultural segment members discussed their favourite book and we heard about upcoming events at the Morundah Opera House.
