THE hospitality extended to the lady bowlers from the Murrumbidgee District by the Hay Women's bowlers was much appreciated and the Luncheon provided was complimented by all present. The day commenced with 12 teams from around the district – three from the Leeton and District, two from Leeton Soldiers Club, two from Griffith Ex-Servicemens club, one from Coleambally, one from Darlington Point, one from the District and two from the host club, Hay Women's Bowling Club.

On completion of the two games of bowls the winners of the day were Jan Bock, Joan Bourke, Hilary Chambers and Joan Lloyd.
After lunch all prizes were presented to all winners and runner-ups in 2017 plus the lucky door won by Mary Mogliosi Griffith Exies and the raffle was won by Elaine Sullivan, L&D. On completion all official duties, Hay Ladies were congratulated on their hospitality and all left to travel to their various towns.
