In the past, buses picking up and dropping off students along the road has caused traffic congestion and presents safety issues for students and motorists alike.
Located along Currawong Crescent, the zone will be 31m long and 3.1m wide.
School Principal Daniel Tuohey said
It was approved by Murrumbidgee Council at its October meeting.
General Manager Craig Moffitt hopes the new development will ease safety concerns.
“Once we had the issue brought to our attention there was no doubt that this project should be a priority,” he said.
Construction is set to be carried out over the school holidays in January 2018.
