
One Nation founder Pauline Hanson was in Darlington Point on Thursday to help bring hay to drought-stricken farmers.
Ms Hanson climbed aboard a truck with Sam from Valton Feeding Solutions and was posting updates from the trip.
“Sam’s kindly donated his time to give back to our farmers across the two great states,” Ms Hanson posted on her Facebook page.
“To give you some idea of the fuel cost of trucking this hay to the 200 farmers across QLD and NSW, it's a little over $250,000 in diesel.
“All the drivers have donated their trucks and time, we're just hoping to pay their fuel.”

Ms Hanson wrote about $180,000 had been donated so far and encouraged people to help foot the fuel bill.
“The Rotary Club of Sydney Drought Appeal is still taking donations, so I thought I'd put the call out to the 50,000 followers on my page,” she wrote.
“If everyone put a dollar in, we'll come close to covering the full $250,000.”
