Threatened Species Commissioner Gregory Andrews will visit Coleambally on Wednesday morning to check out the work done with an endangered water bird.
Mr Andrews will visit Ian Payne’s farm looking for Australasian Bitterns and will then go to Coleambally Irrigation to get an overview of the Bitterns in Rice project and find out how irrigation infrastructure can deliver environmental outcomes.
Mr Andrews visited Barren Box Swamp and Deniliquin on Tuesday. He will also go to Fivebough Wetlands near Leeton.
