Indoor world bowls champion Kelvin Kerkow and Australian national lawn Bowls Coach Steve Glasson visited the Coleambally Community Club on Monday. Twenty-four bowlers turned out to gain insight into how to be better bowlers.

Kelvin and Steve introduced a new bowls format called Jack Attack.
This format consists of two sets of five ends each.
Each team nominates one of these ends as their bonus end and if they win the end they get double points. If each team wins a set then a playoff of one end is played.
This format introduces an additional element of chance and can be adapted to become many possibilities.
Over lunch the gathering was entertained with anecdotes from the careers of the visitors.
Steve and Kelvin then went out onto the green and showed how it could be done. Kelvin’s driving prowess had to be seen to be believed.
