A LEETON man reported missing has been found safe and well.
Peter Wornes, 45, was located in the area about 11.30am on Thursday.
Police earlier appealed for information about his whereabouts after he was last seen about 12pm on Tuesday after leaving his home on Waratah Street.
Officers attached to Griffith Local Area Command were searching for Mr Wornes.
Concerns were held for his welfare, as Mr Wornes suffers a medical condition.
Mr Wornes was last seen wearing a t-shirt, grey tracksuit pants and white sneakers.
Police said he may have be driving a white Mitsubishi Triton utility with NSW registration UTK-725.
Police put out the call via Police NSW’s Facebook page.
The post was shared more than 60 times before Mr Wornes was located.
Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Leeton since Tuesday.

Mr Wornes is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 185cm tall, of medium build, with short black greying hair and beard. He wears dark-rimmed prescription glasses.
