Junior Roosters braved the cold conditions and fog at Leeton on Saturday after a couple of weeks off.
There were some mixed results but overall a great performance.
The under 12s Roosters, who are combined with Black and Whites, showed their flair on the field and combined with some good ball movement enjoyed a great win, 42-0 against Yenda.
All boys played really well in slippery conditions.
The under 10s Roosters never gave up, but went down to Leeton 18-52.
The international girls had a tough day and lost to Yenda.
The mod girls kept their fine form going.
They had a great win against Leeton and are looking very strong in the Group 20 competition.
The DPC Roosters non-competitive teams of under 9s, 8s and 7s in the boys and mini girls are showing great sportsmanship every week.
As well as their attitude, they are showing some big improvements on the field as well.
Their ball skills in particular have been on the rise.
Training this week is at Darlington Point, 5.30pm Wednesday.
Don’t forget, anyone who wants to sign up for the sports training course this Friday and Saturday at the Point, there are still spots available.
