SES urge people to stay alert
The NSW SES Murrumbidgee Region in a Facebook post advised residents in the area to stay alert to the conditions as more rain is expected Friday.
“Friday brings another strong cold front to the region bringing some more rain, thunderstorms and snow possibly down to 700 metres,” the post read.
“With our catchment areas saturated everyone needs to be paying attention to the weather forecast and act accordingly.
“There are still water affected rural roads in the region so pay attention to Councils and RMS traffic advisories.
“People in the Alpine areas need to be aware that the first significant snowfalls will occur with this event.”
