COLEAMBALLY coach Josh Hamilton has been issued with a second charge from the Farrer League grand final.
AFL Riverina’s match review panel has gone over the video from the Farrer League grand final and laid two extra charges.
Hamilton has been hit with a second charge, while Coleambally forward Brandon Mathews has now also been issued with a charge.
Hamilton’s second charge is for intentionally or carelessly striking East Wagga-Kooringal’s Guy McAlister in the third quarter of the grand final.
It adds to his other striking charge on James Creasy, where he was reported and yellow carded on the day.
Mathews has been charged with intentionally or carelessly striking EWK player Zac Robinson in the third quarter.
The two new charges, along with three of the match day reports, have been referred directly to the AFL Riverina independent tribunal.
They will be heard next Wednesday, September 28, at the Ganmain Sports Club.
EWK pair Zac Robinson and James Creasy will also have their cases heard there.
Coleambally player Todd Clark has already accepted a two-game suspension, with an early guilty plea, for intentionally or carelessly charging EWK’s Sam Armstrong in the second quarter of the grand final.
Meantime, North Wagga reserve grade player Lachlan Robertson will have his case heard the following night, Thursday September 29, in Wagga.
Robertson is reported for intentionally or carelessly striking EWK’s Scott Burge in the reserve grade grand final.
